Programme Management
The Managing Authority (MA) for OP Infrastructure and Environment is Minister competent for regional development, who performs his functions with help of the Department for Coordination of Infrastructural Programmes in the Ministry of Regional Development. Managing Authority transferred the executive part of its tasks to Intermediate Bodies (IB), i.e. competent ministers, which – after consultation with the Managing Authority – may transfer further competences to Implementing Authority (IA/IB2), possessing appropriate competences, experience and personnel resources. Role of Implementing Authority may be performed by institution, whose competences in the given field stem from relevant legal regulations or possibly from its statute, which belongs to sector of public finances or – due to its tasks – is appropriate for performing this function.
